Chair Yoga
This class teaches participants how to incorporate breathing exercises, stretches, and simple poses into their workday to relieve stress and tension, increase energy and improve overall well-being. Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced in a chair or standing using a chair for support to improve flexibility and strengthen muscles. Classes begin with breathing exercises and gentle movement, gradually working into stretches and poses and class ends with a guided meditation. Chair yoga is perfect for everyone as modifications are offered throughout class. Students can attend class in business attire and no yoga mat is needed.
Gentle Yoga
Gentle yoga moves at a slower pace focusing on letting go of stress, stretching and releasing tension from muscles and joints. Class focuses on relaxation techniques, increasing flexibility, breathing exercises, and a variety of standing, seated and reclining poses. This class is appropriate for anyone new to yoga as well as participants who have practiced yoga before.
All Levels Yoga
This class is great for the mind and body, building strength, increasing flexibility, reducing stress and learning proper alignment. Class focuses on relaxation techniques, breathing exercises, alignment, and a variety of standing, seated and reclining poses. Participants are encouraged to move through class at their own pace, modifications are offered to intensify or soften the practice. This class is appropriate for participants brand new to yoga as well as those who have practiced before.
Power Yoga
Building on all levels yoga, more advanced postures are offered, poses are held longer and class moves a little faster. Power yoga is a great class that strengthens the body and quiets the mind. Classes focus on relaxation techniques, breathing exercises, alignment, and a variety of standing, seated and reclining poses. Students are encouraged to move through class at their own pace, modifications are offered to intensify or soften class. All students are welcome and encouraged to move through the practice at their own pace.
