Years ago I found myself in a rut struggling with anxiety, insomnia and chronic neck pain. I was going through the motions of life frustrated and unhappy. One day I asked myself “is this as good as it gets?” The universe seemed to respond quickly as I soon found myself in a yoga class breathing, twisting and turning without a clue as to what I was doing. After that yoga class, the light bulb went off as I walked out blissful and hopeful! I had no idea that I had just taken my first steps onto a new path that would completely reshape my life. I was hooked, and that feeling has been bringing me back to my mat every day! I began practicing yoga and meditation regularly and I could see that my life was changing, I was sleeping better, was less anxious and my neck pain disappeared. In a short amount of time, I was feeling fantastic and truly enjoying my life.
As I continued to practice yoga my desire to deepen my practice grew, I enrolled in a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training through Kripalu School of Yoga. After graduation, I decided to share my passion with the world and began teaching yoga and meditation regularly. My passion for yoga shines in each class. I have a dynamic teaching style which incorporates physical benefits, alignment and artistic sequencing. I strive to create a safe space that allows each student to explore their own unique practice with compassion, safely navigate their edge and embrace self-observation without judgment.
Teaching yoga and meditation inspires me to continuously grow and learn more, following my Kripalu training I completed training’s in Restorative Yoga through Pranakriya School of Yoga Healing Arts, Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga through Yoga-Water, Reiki 1, Reiki 2, Reiki Master, Reiki Master of Masters, Reiki Master Teacher through Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health and also First Aid, CPR and AED.
Over the last 9 years I have taught over 5,000 yoga and meditation classes for individuals, small groups, yoga studios and corporations throughout the world. Currently, I offer one-on-one and small group yoga, SUP yoga, meditation, and reiki sessions, corporate yoga, mindfullness meditation online, virtually and in Glastonbury, CT and the Hartford, CT area.
